This policy applies to any interaction with Performance First’s website: Your personal information is safe with us and will only be shared within The Performance First Group unless you provide consent for any other purpose. This policy covers how we collect data from you, what its usage is for and your rights to the data we currently hold for you. It is important your read this policy, so you fully understand our practices with regards to your personal data. If any changes are made to this policy, the changes will be displayed on the website.


Personal data we collect

The personal data we collect is voluntarily provided through signing up to a mailing list etc. We collect personal information from you when you register to receive our newsletter, enquire via our website, enquire at any show/event where we may make face-to-face contact, provide a testimonial or comment on our blog/social media sites, contact us to request our services. You are free to browse without providing any personal information. If you contact us, we may keep a record of your correspondence, which may include personal information provided to by yourselves.


Why we collect your data

Your data will only be used for the purposes that you indicate or that are covered throughout this privacy policy. We collect data from you in order to update and enhance our records,  respond to your enquiries, notify you of our products/services that may benefit your organisation, improve our products and services by getting your feedback through surveys/comments, carry out any contractual arrangements between ourselves. With regards to all other personal data, this will be utilised under the legitimate reasons above, through one of the methods included in the above section. If within 12 months we have not had any occurrence or interaction with yourselves, you will be notified as to whether you wish to continue with our communications and if not, your data will be deleted. This does NOT apply to anyone who has transacted with use. We will only contact a third party if it involves providing necessary information, in order to meet your specified requirements or linked to an external provider e.g. partner/supplier. We never sell personal information to any third party and it will not be passed onto 3rd parties for any marketing purposes.



We undertake strict procedures to ensure that the personal information you provide to us is protected on servers and password protected controlled sites are used to try to prevent any unauthorised access. We cannot guarantee the safety of any external websites that we may link to from our own website, they will have their own privacy policy. By submitting your personal data to us, you agree to the transfer, storing or processing. We will take all necessary steps to ensure that your data is secure and treated in accordance with the privacy policy.


We employ other companies to provide additional services for example, marketing assistance, website management, IT support, in order to provide you with a more enhanced service offering. In all cases where we outsource assistance, they abide by our privacy policy. In the unlikely event that Performance First Ltd, or one of its subsidiaries, are sold to a third party, the information we have collected will be passed to the new provider as part of the sale of assets. We will only disclose your personal data if we have need to comply through a legal obligation.


Your rights

We acknowledge that you have the right to ask us not to process your data for any marketing purposes and unsubscribe at any time, by using the links within the emails sent or via our contact us form. If this occurs, we will remove your data from any marketing list we may have.  You can also request details of the data we have stored for you and request that we correct any errors for you. We will action your requests within 28 days free of charge. We will also notify you of any data breaches that we are made aware of and may affect your personal data within 72 hrs. If you believe there is a problem with the way your data is being handled, then you have the rights to complain to the ICO.


Changes to the policy

Any changes we make to our privacy policy will be updated on our website. By reading the policy and continuing to use our website you confirm that you understand and agree to our privacy policy.
